A beautiful summertime wedding at the Tournerbury Woods Estate
When Frankee and Matt asked me to capture their big day, as a Tournerbury Woods wedding photographer, of course I jumped at the opportunity!
Surrounded by picturesque Hampshire countryside and views across the sea to Chichester Harbour, Tournerbury Woods Estate on Hayling Island without a doubt makes for a stunning backdrop for any big day.
Frankee and Matt said their vows under the beautiful outdoor ceremony dome. The aisle was decorated with meadow style florals which created a truly romantic setting. It’s no wonder that the couple fell in love with Tournerbury Woods and knew it was the place they would tie the knot!
A wedding work of art
The couple then walked into married life through a snowstorm of confetti! Frankee had spent months in the run up to the big day drying petals for the occasion. Another highlight was the artist that joined the celebration during the drinks reception. They guided guests to create a stunning painted canvas – each person adding a unique flower to the piece. The finished artwork was stunning and something the couple will treasure forever.
My favourite part of the day, however, was when the sun went down over the Tournerbury Woods estate. We headed to the seafront and captured some really amazing couple’s portraits. The golden light created an undeniably magical atmosphere. It felt like we were in a fairytake and this was the happily ever after ending. It was without a doubt an evening I’ll remember for a very long time!
The whole day was full of so much fun and laughter. I felt truly honoured to have been part of such a wonderful occasion. I wish Frankee and Matt all the best for an amazing lifetime together.
