As a Syon Park wedding photographer, I can say without doubt that this is one of the most impressive wedding venues the UK has to offer. If you’re looking for a regal setting which oozes sophistication, then look no further. Located in the heart of London, this incredible 200-acre estate offers not only a spectacular setting to exchange vows, but also the convenience of being so easily accessible.
A wedding venue steeped in history
Syon Park is a venue steeped in history. As one of London’s last great houses, Syon House dates back to the 1500s. Once upon a time the grounds were the site of a medieval abbey. Now it’s a Grade I listed house and the private residence to the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland.
The gardens and grounds of Syon Park were designed in 1760 by Capability Brown no less. The beautiful designs have endured the test of time and remain as magnificent today. It’s not surprising, therefore, that Syon Park is frequently the backdrop for films and television alike. These include Netflix’s Bridgerton, BBC’s Killing Eve and Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass, amongst countless others.
The Walled Garden & Great Convervatory
Both breathtaking and inspiring, it’s no wonder that the venue is in such high demand for couples wanting to exchange their marriage vows amongst such a prestigious setting. With locations such as the Walled Garden and Great Conservatory, Syon Park has so much to offer to make any big day just perfect.
