Located in the heart of beautiful Cheltenham, as a Manor by the Lake wedding photographer, I couldn’t wait for Rachel and Jonny’s big day. As the April day arrived,
Manor by the Lake is without doubt a strikingly handsome Victorian manor house. Being on the edge of the Cotswolds, it certainly has that unique Cotswolds wedding charm and is bursting with elegance and romance.
A relaxed wedding morning in the Cotswolds
Rachel got ready in the venue’s stunning bridal suite alongside her bridesmaids and mum. It was a wonderfully relaxed morning with the party sipping bubbles and laughing. The London-based bride had chosen an unquestionably spectacular Julita London gown – featuring intricate embroidery and romantic feather detailing. Simply exquisite. The beautiful bride looked a picture of elegance as she awaited her walk down the aisle.
Manor by the Lake’s beautiful, elegant interiors made the perfect backdrop for Rachel and Jonny’s wedding ceremony. The couple exchanged vows in front of their beaming family and friends, in a room full of so much love and happiness.
Beautifully photography at Manor by the Lake
With seven acres of beautifully grounds, including landscaped gardens and of course its famous lake, there’s no shortage of beautiful spots for wedding photography at Manor by the Lake. The most iconic, perhaps, is Yew Tree Walk. The tree-lined avenue is an undeniably picture-perfect backdrop for the most romantic wedding photos.
Following the speeches and first dance, we headed to the manor’s romantic fairy-light lined lakeside walk for some evening portraits, including an incredible reflection photo on the venue’s famed bridge.
