A rustic farm wedding – but make it luxury
London girl Hattie never imagined she’d get married on a farm, but a rustic luxury Silchester Farm wedding isn’t your average farm setting!
Yes Silchester Farm has its resident pigs Charlotte and Melvin (who’re always up for a photobomb by the way), but they’ve also got beautifully landscaped grounds, luxury touches and modern interiors to die for. It’s no wonder then that London girl Hattie fell in love with this Fancy Farm (if you know, you know), and her fancy fella too. For Hattie and Al it was the perfect setting to say yes to forever.
An outdoor Celebrant-led ceremony at Silchester Farm
Their July big day was everything they’d dreamed of. Hattie and Al planned an incredibly personal outdoor ceremony from Celebrant Caz. They exchanged vows to the backdrop of Silchester’s willow tree adorned pond, to the soundtrack of a string quartet. It really was so beautiful.
Their styling was elegant and modern, and centred on neutral tones. A perfect match for Silchester’s rustic luxury vibe. If you’ve not yet had the pleasure of seeing Silchester in person, picture modern Soho Farmhouse vibes, with a rustic twist. Dark wood interiors were the perfect complement to the white florals. A match made in wedding heaven!
When it comes to July weather, you can never be too sure what you’re going to get. Hattie and Al’s big day was no different. The week prior to the wedding had seen a variable forecast and the rain threatened to scupper the outdoor ceremony plans. Thankfully though, our praying to the weather gods paid off and the rain held off until guests were sitting down to dinner.
Moody skies and golden fields
Dark, moody skies came over during their couple’s portraits, and it was actually a perfect background. The dramatic scene over the golden fields was truly showstopping. As the celebration neared the dancefloor part of the day, a beautiful rainbow formed over the farm venue.
