Wedding Photography at Grittleton House
Ideally located on the edge of the Cotswolds and surrounded by picturesque views of unspoiled Wiltshire countryside, as a Grittleton House wedding photographer I’m truly spoilt at this incredible venue. Growing up not far from the stunning venue, I have been so lucky to visit many times.
I was so excited when Katie and Charlie invited me to capture their late October wedding day at the iconic Wiltshire wedding venue. An autumn wedding is always such a delight, and their day didn’t disappoint!
An Autumn Wedding at Grittleton House
Their wedding was everything you’d hope for when planning an autumn wedding…blue skies, warm sunshine and a chill in the air. Katie looked incredible in a long-sleeved lace gown, and Charlie perfectly matched the look in stylish black tie.
They chose romantic, cosy styling with burnt orange and deep green touches. The elegant look perfectly complemented Grittleton’s House’s impressive Cotswolds architecture.
Grittleton House is one of the Cotswolds’ most luxurious wedding venues- and for good reason. The Cotswolds manor house boasts Victorian-style architecture, beautiful Italian sunken gardens and a magnificent tree-lined driveway. There are certainly endless opportunities for elegant and timeless wedding portraits at Grittleton House. The venue suited Katie and Charlie’s sophisticated wedding day vibe perfectly.
Inside the Cotswolds Manor Wedding Venue
Step inside and you’ll discover undeniably handsome features, decorative ceilings and a wealth of elegant spaces. The regal ballroom, cosy library and impressive orangery certainly offer a variety of hosting opportunities for your big day.
The large windows and sweeping staircase combine to create the lighting scenario of dreams! Meaning that even if weather tries to mess with your plans, you’ll never be short of incredible wedding photos.
Editorial Flash Wedding Photos
After the speeches we made the most of the darker evening with some stylish, editorial flash photos…and I’m obsessed!! Did someone say Vogue?! Flash photos are the perfect way to capture some more relaxed evening moments, especially during the darker months.
The vibe of their whole wedding day was relaxed and so fun, and the dancefloor was next level! The combination of DJ, drums and sax got the party started from the very first song…and it only got better from there! 🥁🎷
