Wedding Photography in Farnham
As a Farnham Castle wedding photographer, I was of course delighted to be asked by Y&G to capture their big day at the historic venue. Situated on the Surrey/Hampshire border and overlooking the town of Farnham, the unique venue is perfectly located for a showstopping celebration.
A relaxed wedding morning at Farnham Castle
When Y&G asked me to capture their big day at Farnham Castle, I was excited to head back to this beautiful venue. I met the bride in the Gatehouse at Farnham Castle where she was preparing for the big day ahead with her bridal party. The ladies were happily sipping prosecco and enjoying the build-up.
A sunny winter wedding
The mid-February wedding day brought weather that most winter wedding couples dream of! It was cold but bright. The sun shone over the castle grounds as the couple made their confetti exit down the iconic castle steps. We were even blessed with a late afternoon golden hour – a rare luxury in the winter months! We took a stroll on the castle lawn to create some stunningly romantic couple’s portraits.
As the sun set the couple welcomed their guests into the Grand Hall for the wedding breakfast and then a night full of dancing. The whole day was full of so much love and was truly a pleasure to be a part of.
I’ll fondly look back on Y&G’s wedding day for a very long time. I wish you both all the love in the world.
As for Farnham Castle, I can’t wait to head back to this wonderful venue very soon. It’s on my doorstep so I’m sure it won’t be long!
