A luxury wedding photography at Fairmont Windsor Park
Whenever I work at a new venue for the first time I get so excited, but especially so for Liz and Charlie’s Fairmont Windsor Park wedding!
The Fairmont Windsor is nothing short of incredible. From the moment you come down the elegant driveaway and across the bridge, you’re greeted by the magnificent architecture. As you explore further you find modern interiors, landscaped gardens and romantic, intricate details. It’s a truly luxurious wedding venue so there’s no wonder Liz and Charlie knew it was where they’d say their vows.
A romantic and timeless outdoor wedding ceremony
When the big day arrived, the weather was threatening to scupper the outdoor ceremony plans. But our praying to the weather gods paid off! Liz and Charlie exchanged their vows in the elegant outdoor setting. The aisle was lined with pastel-themed meadow florals and a truly stunning flower arch finished the timeless look. It was one of the most romantic ceremony stylings I’ve had the pleasure of capturing.
As the afternoon went on the grey clouds got darker. There were a couple of light showers during portraits but nothing that a couple of clear umbrellas couldn’t fix! I always keep these in my car – they’re perfect in case we get a little rain and look so cute in photos!
Talking of photos, at the Fairmont Windsor Park there are countless beautiful portrait spots! The lake, the rose garden, the pergola and the long meadow grass – the options are endless! I was so excited when we headed out to capture some elegant, romantic wedding photos in this beautiful setting.
Fun, music and so much love
What really struck me about Liz and Charlie’s wedding was how much fun everyone had. From start to finish the couple had considered their guests when planning their entertainment. There was an amazing acoustic duo in the ceremony and drinks reception, singing waiters during dinner and a band in the evening that really got the party going!
Liz and Charlie, your love for each other was so clear for anyone to see. It was my absolute pleasure to be a part of it.
