A Spring Wedding at Bury Court Barn
By the time Frankie and Marcel’s springtime wedding came round, as a Bury Court Barn photographer, it was safe to say that everyone was so ready for Spring to actually arrive! And oh boy didn’t it just?! After weeks and months of rain, wind and grey skies, the sun made it’s first real appearance of the year for a glorious wedding day.
As a Hampshire wedding photographer, Bury Court Barn is a wedding venue that I have the pleasure of working at often – and I love it! It has a rustic yet modern feel with thoughtful touches throughout. Not to mention that it has so many incredible photo spots – a wedding photographer’s dream!
A relaxed and fun celebration for Frankie and Marcel
The couple wanted a relaxed and fun wedding day. Of course they delivered! After the rings were exchanged, Frankie and Marcel walked into a storm of confetti and applause from their guests. They then spent the afternoon relaxing in the May sunshine in the gardens of Bury Court Barn.
The speeches were heartfelt and emotional. Marcel’s Mum, in particular, said some beautiful words. I love that I am seeing more and more women take the mic – let’s hear it for the girls!
The evening reception really made the most of the amazing weather. We headed out to the front of the venue during a really glorious golden hour. As the sun set over the Hampshire countryside, the couple danced, laughed and joked. We captured some really special moments to end their wedding day coverage!
Dancing the night away under Bury Court Barn’s Chandeliers
Any Bury Court Barn wedding wouldn’t be complete without dancing the night away under the iconic chandeliers. This beautiful pair did just that! I was reliably informed that the duo didn’t leave the dancefloor the whole night – and even did a shoe change so they could really get their groove on!
