A classic and timeless springtime wedding at Silchester Farm in Hampshire
When Amy-Lee and Jake asked me to capture their Silchester Farm Spring wedding I was so excited – and it didn’t disappoint! With elegant, neutral florals and a relaxed atmosphere, their day certainly was everything they’d hoped it would be.
Silchester Farm near Basingstoke in Hampshire is a truly special wedding day venue. Yes it has its resident pigs and goats, but it also boasts beautifully landscaped grounds, considered touches and modern interiors to die for. For Amy-Lee and Jake it was the perfect setting to say yes to forever. It was no wonder that they fell in love with this self-proclaimed Fancy Farm (if you know, you know – check out that cocktail hour neon sign!).
A picturesque outdoor ceremony in the Hampshire countryside
Amy-Lee and Jake planned an incredibly personal outdoor ceremony at Silchester Farm. They exchanged vows to the backdrop of Silchester’s willow tree adorned pond, to the soundtrack of an acoustic guitarist. It really was so beautiful.
Jake and his groomsmen donned stylish black tie attire. A undoubtedly perfect complement to Amy-Lee’s elegant and timeless vision. The bride herself wore an incredible fitted Suzanne Neville gown paired with sky-high Prada heels. The pair undeniably looked every bit the superstars as we strolled around Silchester Farm capturing their portraits.
A spring wedding full of love and laughter
Their whole day was laughter-filled from start to finish and the love was so palpable. It was clear for everyone to see how much admiration Amy-Lee and Jake have for each other. The sentiment was undoubtedly echoed by all of their guests.
