A Summertime Richmond Wedding
When Harriet and Luke first told me about their plans for a summertime London wedding with a relaxed vibe and blush colour theme, as a Richmond wedding photographer I couldn’t wait. What’s more, the couple had double the reason to celebrate! Harriet would be seven months pregnant at the time of the big day!
On the morning of the wedding I met Harriet at the Richmond Harbour Hotel. The bride was getting ready with her mum and bridesmaids. Nosecco was popped and glasses were clinked. After being helped into her dress by her Mum, Harriet finished her bridal look with her Grandmother’s pearls – without a doubt the perfect something old to complement her gown.
Celebrating on Richmond Hill
Harriet and Luke said I do at the beautiful Richmond Hotel, before leading their guests across the road to the iconic Richmond Hill. The picturesque backdrop was undoubtedly the perfect setting for their group shots.
We took a few moments to wander off just the three of us and capture some gorgeous portraits of the newlyweds on Richmond Hill. The weekend was the hottest of the year with the mercury soaring to 34 degrees! Not that our pregnant bride let it hold her back!

Afterwards we headed back to the Richmond Harbour Hotel for the couple’s wedding breakfast, speeches and drinks reception. Of course we returned to Richmond Hill at sunset for golden hour. It was truly magical and the ideal way to round off their day.
All in all, I felt truly honoured to play a small role in such an amazing day. I wish Harriet and Luke all the best for a long and happy marriage together – and can’t wait to see photos of the newest arrival!
