A romantic summer wedding at Pelham House

Pelham House in Lewes, East Sussex, certainly is the ideal setting for a stylish yet relaxed celebration. With its classic Georgian architecture and manicured gardens, it’s a really beautiful wedding venue.
An outdoor ceremony at Pelham House
The wedding ceremony took place in the gardens, where Suzie and Rhodri exchanged vows surrounded by love and laughter from their guests. Capturing this part of the day felt especially meaningful as the couple exchanged rings, vows and finally their first kiss!
The sun shone over their drinks reception as cocktails flowed and glasses clinked. Friends and family mingled on the terrace, undoubtedly enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the day.
A stylish, editorial wedding dress change
As the evening approached, Suzie stunned everyone with a surprise dress change that gave full Hollywood glam. The editorial flash portraits captured during the outfit change were among my favourites of the day. They’re so editorial in feel, straight out of the pages of Vogue!
Suzie and Rhodri’s wedding was a dream to capture. It was an elegant, romantic wedding day with stylish decor and beautiful details. As someone who specialises in modern, editorial photography, I certainly couldn’t have been happier!
