Timeless wedding photography at Oakley Hall
As an Oakley Hall wedding photographer, Jess and Simon’s summertime celebration was such a delight. What’s more, the fabulous Hampshire country estate venue is a stone’s throw away from my home, so I know it inside out!
The luxury country Manor manor house is in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, on the outskirts of Basingstoke. The moment you enter via the long, elegant driveway, you certainly know Oakley Hall is special. So it’s no wonder Jess and Simon knew it was the place for them.
A relaxed morning in the bridal suite
Jess and Simon’s wedding was nothing short of incredible. Jess got ready with her bridesmaids and Mum in the beautiful bridal suite at Oakley Hall. The atmosphere was a buzz of fun, joy and above all anticipation for the day ahead. Simon and his groomsmen had a very relaxed start to the day with a pub breakfast at their local.
The pair said their vows in a church ceremony in their home village. This was then followed by an afternoon and evening of celebration at Oakley Hall.
A wedding full of personal touches
It was important to Jess and Simon that their wedding day remain authentic to who the are as a couple. Their personal touches included a cheese stack complete with sheep topper as a nod to their farming background. They also decided stopped by their local pub to have a quick drink with friends after the ceremony. Last but not least Jess opted for killer colourful Louboutin heels rather than the traditional white. I absolutely love when a couple inject personality into their day – these two certainly did that!

The whole vibe of their day was relaxed and fun, but with such beautiful elegance and detail. We ended their coverage with incredible golden hour portraits as the sun went down over the Hampshire countryside. Thank you for trusting me to capture your big day Jess and Simon, it was a dream!
