Where do I even begin?! Anna and Dan’s Froyle Park Hampshire wedding was nothing short of magical. A true fairytale for the most deserving of couples, and one of my favourite editorial wedding photography days of the summer so far. From the moment I arrived, everything about this day felt effortless, romantic and completely them. Days like this are exactly why I love what I do, and it all came together perfectly.
An Editorial Wedding Photography Day at Froyle Park
This June wedding certainly brought everything I love about elegant wedding photography. Soft golden light, romantic florals and a couple who were simply glowing with joy.
The weather was firmly on their side, allowing Anna and Dan the outdoor ceremony they’d been dreaming of. It took place beneath Froyle Park’s iconic dome, one of the most breathtaking backdrops in Hampshire wedding photography.
Standing beneath that dome as Anna walked down the aisle, surrounded by rolling Hampshire countryside, it was easy to see why so many couples dream of an outdoor ceremony at Froyle Park.

Anna’s favourite colour, pink, ran beautifully through every detail of the day. In the romantic floral arrangements, the subtle styling touches and throughout the tablescape and stationery. Paired with elegant, timeless decor, the whole aesthetic felt effortlessly refined. It was exactly the kind of elevated, editorial wedding photography that I love to capture. And when their beloved dog joined for a few photos, it added the sweetest, most personal touch to the day.
What struck me most about Anna and Dan’s styling was how considered every element felt without ever tipping into overdone. The soft pink palette was woven through in the most beautiful way. It’s this kind of elegant styling that photographs so beautifully, because it lets the couple remain the focal point.

As golden hour arrived, the light across the Froyle Park grounds was simply stunning. It gave us the most romantic backdrop for portraits and setting the tone for an unforgettable evening celebration.
We took full advantage of the grounds during this golden window. We wandered through the estate to find pockets of light filtering through the trees and across the lawns. Some of my favourite images from the day came from this time. Quiet, intimate moments between Anna and Dan away from the crowd, where you can really see their joy. It’s these unscripted, in-between moments that I always capture alongside the formal portraits. That’s often where the real emotion lives.

For Anna and Dan’s wedding, I shot both digital and 35mm film simultaneously, capturing their day through two different lenses- quite literally! There’s undoubtedly something about film that digital simply can’t replicate. Softness in the light, warmth in the tones and a beautifully imperfect quality that feels timeless rather than trend-led. It adds a sense of luxury and nostalgia, as if you’re looking back on the day through memory.
