An elegant wedding day at Farbridge, West Sussex
As a Farbridge wedding photographer, I was so excited to head back to this beautiful wedding venue in the heart of the English countryside for Kate and Sean recently.
Farbridge is a collection of modernised barns on the border between West Sussex and Hampshire. All have been stunningly restored to create the most elegant and romantic wedding day setting. With light and airy spaces, well-considered spaces and beautifully manicured gardens, Farbridge certainly does create a magical setting to exchange vows.
A timeless wedding in the Chichester South Downs
Kate and Sean really made the most of the picturesque South Downs wedding venue. Their ceremony took place in the elegant barn space, followed by cocktails in the courtyard under the July sunshine. With emotional first looks, elegant styling and personal touches, it really was the most wonderful wedding day.
Kate was without doubt a vision of elegance and beauty in a classic Milla Nova gown. Sean matched vibe perfectly in formal black tie. The pair’s sophisticated neutral and green colour palette complemented their outfits beautifully! So did the venue – even Farbridge’s stunning incredible gardens got the memo. Just look at how perfectly the hydrangeas fit the timeless aesthetic – classic, stylish and romantic! Of course we made the most of them for the photos!

Not to mention Kate and Sean won the wedding day weather jackpot and it was glorious sunshine all day! We ventured out on to the surrounding hills for some beautiful sunset photos – if you get golden hour on your wedding day you bet we’ll make the most of it!
