When Anna and Sam first told me about their plans to marry on the tenth anniversary of becoming a couple, I just knew their day was going to blow me away!
Silchester Farm is a venue that I just adore! So when Little London Brides asked if I wanted to collaborate, I jumped at the chance to head back to there to showcase some truly show stopping bridal gowns.
Ani and Shane, like so many couples, had had their wedding plans scuppered by COVID. Not able to have the big day that they dreamed of, they decided to just go for it and say their ‘I dos’ in an intimate ceremony instead. And it was oh so special!

2020 certainly provided more than its fair share of surprises. But this late December wedding was certainly one of the best! Picture the scene – it’s 6pm on 23rd December and my phone rings. “Chloë! Boris has just announced that we’re going into tier 4 on Boxing Day. We’re bringing the wedding forward – please say you’re free tomorrow?!”
It often feels like I have known my wedding couples my whole life. This time, that really was the case. Matthew, my younger brother, was marrying Hannah in a beautifully intimate wedding at Bowood House, Wiltshire. Of course, I felt honoured when they asked if I would capture their day.
I love nothing more than an engagement shoot on a warm, summer evening. What better day, therefore, to shoot than the hottest of the year?! Not only was 31st July the hottest day of 2020, but it was also the third hottest day on record – ever! And you’d better believe that this couple’s shoot was just as sizzling as the heatwave!
