As a recommended Barnsley House wedding photographer, I’m delighted that Lauren and James’s beautiful day was featured on One Fab Day and published in printed Tatler.
Lauren and James’ wedding at Barnsley House in the Cotswolds
When Lauren and James asked me to capture their big day, as a Barnsley House wedding photographer, of course I jumped at the opportunity! Set in in the heart of the Cotswolds, Barnsley House is a stunning 17th century manor which certainly makes for the most incredible wedding setting. Landscaped gardens, beautiful décor and the bridal prep suite of dreams come together to create a truly romantic setting. It’s no wonder that Lauren and James fell in love and knew it was the place they would celebrate their forever day.
Elegant wedding photography at Barnsley House
The feel of Lauren and James’ wedding was elegant and relaxed, a theme which undoubtedly complimented their Barnsley House wedding. The couple enjoyed a champagne reception in the gardens, they cut their cake at the temple, and they dined in a stunning marquee in the grounds. They absolutely made the most of what the Cotswolds venue has to offer.
The bridesmaids wore white
Barnsley House has an inescapable grandeur that radiates elegance and sophistication – and Lauren certainly lived up to the brief! Wearing an incredible Halfpenny gown, Lauren looked truly showstopping. What’s more, Lauren dressed her bridesmaids in ivory gowns – a look which I adore for a bridal party! The ladies were the definition of style as they accompanied the bride down the aisle.
With landscaped gardens, stunning lavender garden, Cotswold stone buildings and wild fields, I’m never short of amazing portrait locations at Barnsley House! Indeed it’s one of the reasons that I love working here as a recommended supplier. With this in mind, couple’s portraits at Barnsley are extraordinary – just take a look at Lauren and James’ photos! We were lucky enough to be blessed with an amazing golden hour too – the dream!
A second bridal look
Before taking the floor for their first dance, Lauren slipped off her Halfpenny overskirt to reveal a second look! She coupled this with her signature headband of course, and she was ready to party! The couple took on the dancefloor with energy and so much love; it was a pleasure to capture.
The whole day was full of so much love and laughter. I felt truly honoured to have been part of such a wonderful occasion. I wish Lauren and James all the best for an amazing life together.
