Early Autumn at Bury Court Barn in Farnham
Jodie and Mason tied the knot in a stunning autumn Bury Court Barn wedding in early September. They wanted a natural and relaxed day, with fun at the heart…and they certainly pulled it off!
As a Hampshire wedding photographer, I’m a short 25 minute drive from Bury Court Barn so I’m lucky to return fairly often. The venue’s vibe is rustic yet modern with stylish touches throughout. Not to mention that it has so many incredible photo spots – a wedding photographer’s dream!
Elegant and stylish wedding photography
Jodie and Mason’s wedding day at the Farnham venue was an undoubtedly stylish affair. Jodie wore the dress of dreams! The romantic, elegant Alena Leena gown could have been straight out of a fairytale – and Jodie looked every bit the princess! She chose to dress her girls in burnt orange which of course suited the early autumn day perfectly.
Mason very much matched the sophisticated vibe! He chose to suit up in black tie attire – a look you can never go wrong with! His groomsmen wore matching suits and they certainly made for a very stylish wedding party.
A cosy, rainy autumn wedding day at Bury Court Barn
Unfortunately the Great British weather scuppered their plans for an outdoor ceremony, but it absolutely didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits! Instead, Jodie and Mason had a magical, cosy indoor ceremony underneath Bury Court Barn’s statement chandeliers. It was stunningly beautiful.
Their styling and decor was romantic and elegant with a touch of Autumn in the colour palette. I think I’ll be forever obsessed with these burnt orange Dahlias! They perfectly coordinated with the bridesmaid dresses.
Wedding day sparkler exit, champagne spray and flash photos!
As darkness fell the couple whisked their guests outside for a sparkler exit. It’s always a perfect wedding day addition during the months where the evenings are a little shorter. But they weren’t done there. They then gathered their wedding party and did the most epic champagne spray I’ve ever had the pleasure of capturing! Why spray one bottle when you can spray 14?! It was so such fun and the perfect way to get the whole bridesmaid and groomsmen team involved in the fun!
We rounded off their coverage with some chic flash portraits. Flash is such a fun way to add an editorial touch to your wedding photos. It gives a totally different look to your daytime portraits. Jodie and Mason looked like Hollywood stars straight off of the red carpet!
